BW trans, oil loss

Have a Perkins 4-108 driving a BW trans which is loosing trans oil. Starting with a full trans. after about 2 hours of operation, trans is almost empty. Refill trans and trans operates ok. Where is the oil going? Beilge is ok. Engine seems to be gaining oil. Is Oil cooler defective internally?
