I have a Hurth hbw 450 that is slow to engage in forward gear. The gearbox was rebuilt 400 hours ago and had new forward clutch plates fitted. I have increased the forward linkage by an 1/8th of an inch, which initially seemed to correct the problem. The next time I used it, I was back to square one! I have also changed the oil. At times it can take up to 30 seconds to engage. Does anyone have any ideas? Is there a workshop manual out there anywhere?
