I have an older Penn Yann with the 1:1 velvet drive (as171c). We were fishing on Sat, powered out for about 5 minutes, backed down to idle to troll for 4 hours. troled back to harbor and found that when put into neutral, it still goes forward, and when shifted to reverse, it stalls th engine. Is this a pump failure or worse? any info is appreciated, thanks in advance.
