Transmission on a 360 hp Volvo on a commercial fishing vessel. I already changed the o rings in the heat exchanger for the trans. and I checked the cluster in the exchanger. There are no pinholes or leaks. There is fresh oil in the bilge under the trans. , but either in gear or in neutral, there is no oil dripping or spraying. Could it be the rear seal on the trans. and it`s somehow following the shaft or could it have something to do with the oil filter? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
