Rebuilt Paragon stuck in forward

I have a Paragon model G300 that was rebuilt in August '06. There have been approximately 25 hours put on since rebuild. It is stuck in forward. Disconnecting shifting cable and manually shifting from forward to neutral and reverse does nothing. Is there a way to get out of forward without pulling transmission? Any ideas?
