I have a 1986 WellCraft Express Cruiser with Twin 350. We ordered the Right motor so we could replace it and they sent at standard motor. We did not realize that the Standard motor was the left and we assumed since we were dealing with a reputable Marine Motor company out of Miami that they would know which motor sat on the right side of the boat. We even told them which direction the Motor was turning standing at the rear of the motor. However we have been able to get it cranked and running with the aid of the left motor starter.

Now we have been told that you can change the rotation of the transmission. I think that it is a 70C as best I can tell by different photos. I will confirm tomorrow. The transmission is about 2' long and straight like a normal automatic car transmission. It bolts dirctly to the output shaft.

Can you change the direction on this transmission?
