Where did the fluid go? Check around the breather. If your cooling circuit is obstructed (ie. kinked or old hose)the fluid would pour out the breather until the engine is brought down to idle. Refill the trans & tie a white cloth around the breather. Run the boat for a short period of time, shut down & check the cloth for fluid.
